About us

The name of Bioon was found by advertising agency Velvet OÜ. As there is no such product on the Estonian market today, it seemed appropriate to find a name for the new product. ‘Bio’ in the name refers to its natural origin and the ‘ion’ refers to being a by-product of biogas production. At the same time, the solid bioon itself is airy and resembles peat when held in the hand, it does not smell or stink, instead, it “fertilises like manure”!
